Collingwood provide insurance for learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers.

New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Collingwood make it affordable for young people to get insurance while they are learning to drive, without impacting on their parents' insurance! It also allows them to begin to build up some NCD so that when they have passed they stand more chance of being able to afford insurance. I have already recommended them to others who are struggling to afford to insure their teens! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Excellent service for learner drivers

Collingwood insurance was recommended to us by a friend. Our daughter has been having driving lessons throughout the pandemic so they have been a bit stop/start. Collingwood Learner insurance has given us the confidence to allow her to have more driving practice in her own little car with us by her side. It was quick and easy to set up with a very helpful customer assistant who explained everything well. We were able to opt for just 3 months full cover rather than committing to a full year. Worst company ever

I have a taxi insurance with them and when they issued the certificate they got the name wrong in the certificate, I contacted them to correct the mistake, and for 5 days I called them daily to issue my certificate correctly during which time I could not work but they collected the money, so for a maximum of 5 minutes during which they had to change my name and send me an email I waited 5 days, to say the least I waited to call them daily, after these 5 days I made a complaint and they told me that it takes 2 months to solve my complaint, if for a minor thing it takes 2 months if I have an accident how long does it take to repair my car ??? 2 years? if they want to fix my car, how serious they are I think they will find a reason ... so think hard before you sign with them...I contact them after few days and they don't want to answer at my emails Reviewed on: 26th May 2021
