Fixed rate cash ISAs from The Co-operative Bank are for one or two years and you’ll need at least £5,000 to open one. The Co-operative Bank Online Cash ISA is for current account holders and has a variable rate. The standard Cash ISA can be opened with £1.

Missing money from five figure cheque

1
Paid a five figure sum cheque in at the Co-op Leicester branch in November 2025. Money left the payee's account in November 2025, but I am yet to receive the money in my account. Lodged a complaint with Co-op bank about this, but have heard nothing, other than confirmation they have received my complaint. Do not get the impression that Co-op bank are doing anything about this. Reviewed on: 9th January 2026

It really is not worh using a cash isa with the Co-op when TSB are offering 5% for a current account for as much money as I have saved. Reviewed on: 5th December 2016
