Terrible. Firstly a few months ago they approved 4 payments to some AI subscription scam without asking me to authorise the payment. They paid it... Terrible. Firstly a few months ago they approved 4 payments to some AI subscription scam without asking me to authorise the payment. They paid it back to me, but still! Then recently they asked me to authorise a payment to my car insurance provider which I did in the app and they still rejected the payment. This resulted in a £20 failed payment surcharge which Curve refused to refund me. I’m done. Bunch of cowboys and can’t trust them to handle my transactions any more. Cancelled my card and account. I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Curve. • I tried to downgrade my subscription before renewal, but the app would not let me. Despite clearly stating I did not wish to continue, they still charged my card £179. • Their customer service is terrible – messages take days (if they reply at all), and urgent issues are ignored. • The Curve card itself is unreliable. I couldn’t even use it for TfL for months until I replaced it with another card. I always have to carry a backup card just in case Curve fails. • The lounge access benefit is misleading – you still have to pay, so it’s worthless. Overall, Curve has been more of a headache than a help. The service is unreliable, support is poor, and the advertised “benefits” don’t justify the cost.
