As far as I'm aware, Cycleplan is the only provider that offers cycle insurance to under 16s. Haven't had to claim, but excess is very reasonable. Satisfied Customer. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2017

Watch out for the fine print

My bike was left overnight in front of my house, chained with two massive locks. Thieves unscrewed and stole some components, totalling £400 damage but cycleplan refused to cover this claim in the first call. I was advised that I have to store my bike inside my flat(!) to be covered for theft according to the t&c, if it's chained on the premises of the property it's not covered. What a joke for a specialised bike insurance. My home insurance convered the claim instead with no fuss. Will definitely not renew my policy. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2017
