Claim well handled

I got to my car in the morning and it had been completely vandalised every window smashed, no mirrors or wiper blades, diamond had a pick up with a courtesy car on it for me to me within an hour and a half which then took my car to a garage. Reviewed on: 10th September 2016

Very good when I had an accident that wasn't my fault. Paid extra to ensure there was a hire car available if this ever happened but they didn't tell me I'd have to pay over £50 (I think) if there was any damage caused to the car... and the way they were talking about stone chips made me think they would take the money regardless! This wasn't Diamond but the brooker they deal with. Reviewed on: 13th March 2016

I had no problems but my premium was high this year -ive had no accidents / claims was told it was due to increase for everyone but when i did a insurance compare it was £80 cheaper else where. i Rung diamond back and told them this and they matched it. Reviewed on: 13th March 2016

I was charged £30 by Diamond to change address and when I asked them why they said the postcode had a higher theft rate! When I then moved back to my old address they tried to charge me again telling me the same story! Reviewed on: 3rd March 2016

Amazing

Rang up to cancel as had found cheaper renewal elsewhere but they immediately reassured me they would beat the price and they did; stayed with them. Excellent service! Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great car insurance company: especially for women

I've been a customer with Diamond Car Insurance for over three years now and can't fault their service. They are competitive, fair and will always try to match a better offer elsewhere when it comes to renewal. Customer service is strong: staff at their call centres are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Diamond Car Insurance to other women: I feel they have looked after me in the years I have had insurance with them and I am happy to continue being a customer with them as long as they remain competitive and continue to offer a renewal price match. Having Diamond car insurance was, overall, a positive experience

I had a mostly positive experience with Diamond car insurance, they were reliable and helpful when I rang for advice, and I would have stayed with them if I didn't get a speeding ticket, voiding my ability to renew my policy. This is the only thing I had an issue with, I have no problem in being charged a higher fee for the year's worth of insurance due to the speeding ticket, and perhaps being required to fit a driving monitor, but to be completely not allowed to renew due to the ticket was, I thought, a bit excessive, however I suppose they may need to protect the quality service they provide by being that strict with their requirements. Only interested in New Customers

I initially found them good when I took out my 1st policy, friendly staff and a good rate. Sadly a different story when the renewal quote arrived, an extra 40% from nowhere and the staff indifferent and would not offer any explanation. It always pays to use the money comparison websites to get the best offer. Reviewed on: 31st August 2015
