Ecclesiastical Insurance was originally founded in 1887 as the Ecclesiastical Buildings Fire Office. It was designed to protect Anglican churches and church buildings against the risk of fire.

Ecclesiastical Insurance is part of the Benefact Group – a charity owned, international family of financial services companies that exist to donate available profits to good causes.

It provides a range of specialist insurance policies for organisations and businesses as well as financial advice services.

I’ve been with ecclesiastical for a few years. Their advisers are always friendly and helpful. The price generally feels quite high though and I haven’t... The price generally feels quite high though and I haven’t shopped around in a while so I couldn’t say if they’re good value or not.     Great Value Home Insurance from a not-for-profit company

    Working from home, I've found it difficult to find appropriate home insurance. Ecclesiastical understood my circumstances and have provided excellent cover at a reasonable cost.

    Listen and Understand

    Ecclesiastical were very good at listening to the particular circumstances around our new home and making sure we got a policy that would cover us sufficiently.
