Skeptical at first, best decision I've made!

I was very skeptical about getting any loans as I hated having to get credit for things. As a single mum I struggled to get Christmas presents and was recommended ECU by a friend, she said if you claim child benefit, which I did, then you can sort it so your DD pays the loan directly if I am accepted for one. I liked the idea of that as the money will never come into my account and it would pay itself off and put something away in my savings, which they set up for you. A portion of the child benefit gets put into a savings pot and the rest pays off the loan. I've never looked back as the top up loans throughout the years have helped me immensely!! I recommend ECU to anyone who asks me where they should go for a loan. Reviewed on: 5th July 2025

HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

ECU has been a massive help for me to get back on track with my finances. Getting a loan out was very straight forward and I received a fast response. With my loan I covered what I needed to pay and since that I have been able to grow my savings account which has provided me with piece of mind knowing I have some money set aside for whenever I need it. It has all been a breeze and the customer service is fantastic. It is one of the few places that I know that make everything very clear, easy to understand and easy to navigate.
