I save my child benefit in the credit union

I save my child benefit in the credit union and it helps save for a rainy day to take my kids somewhere before I get paid or helps towards their birthdays/Christmas if my pay day is after it. Also I have just moved house so it has helped me with getting new stuff. Reviewed on: 19th May 2026

Helpful staff able to answers detailed questions about T&C's, and an unusually simple and helpful chatbot service that has been recently upgraded. New savings products offer market equalling returns for large savers, and a low starting threshold for those with less money available to save thus attracting necessary investment AND acting as a helpful psychological nudge for those who may not be regular savers but really need to be.
