Getting on in my old age - but still willing to insure!

Finding travel insurance at the age of 82 is challenging to say the least! However, after several failed web searches I finally managed it thanks to "Get Going" travel insurance. After completing my health declaration, I was good to go. I had a great holiday in India with my family and will definitely use "Get Going" when I can. A good service and a fantastic holiday. Ended up doing it myself

I contacted my insurance as my family holiday of a lifetime was dismantled with the Covid outbreak. I was told I had to directly make contact with each of the holiday providers myself. I ended up contacting 3 x flight companies and 2 x hotel accommodations who gave me no satisfaction. My enquiries were logged and then it would appear ignored. I had to eventually contact my bank to resolve the issues. I got no service from my insurer. I wouldn’t recommend them based on this years experience Reviewed on: 28th August 2020
