GG Did The Right Thing!

Our holiday was cancelled, along with many others. I asked Gg to refund our premium. They were not obliged to do so, but considered my request and gave us a refund. This happened in the context of numerous consumer issues for people claiming refunds from airlines and travel companies, who did have clear obligations. So thank you for such a positive and speedy response. We’ll come back to you when we get to travel again. Reviewed on: 14th August 2020

over 80s

Many over 80s have trouble getting insurance, as they are all deemed to be old and sick. Get Going takes that into consideration, not all over 80s are high risk, even if there have been problems in the past, if they take their medication regularly they are as fit as younger people Reviewed on: 4th August 2020

A comprehensive breath of fresh air

Due to the Cov19, my wedding in Jamaica this year was cancelled. I decided to have a more expensive insurance on this particular trip, than usual due, to our destination and i have a long term illness. I was pleasantly surprised that Get Going covered my condition, as previous insurers did not or would charge me quite a bit extra for the cover. As mentioned, our trip was cancelled this year, but by contacting Get Going, I was able to move my policy to next year; very straightforward and quick process. I didnt want to cancel this insurance, at a very good price and cover. I've already reccomended them to my father, as he's in his 80s. He will use Get Going, once its safe again for my family and I to travel and get married abroad. Its would also work out cheaper for my father through Get Going, than his previous insurer.
