About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

The Beginning

Awesome to introduce our kids into the world of the money. It helps in this beginning, and at the same time giving us peace of mind, because we know they not spending all our money from our credit card, plus the option for giving them extra reward for an outstanding task or good behaviour. Secure way to teach young kids how to use a debit card

Its a great account which can help you to help your child keen an eye on what's going on in their account. I personally use it as means of letting my pre teen and teen boys have their own money (although I believe you can use it to pay pocket money). It can be used daily for their lunches at school and also when they go shopping etc. Its easy to see where they spend and how much. You can set up notifications so you know what they are spending and where. My teenage son has a job so his wages are paid into my parental account which I then transfer into his account where he can put it into a savings goal or in the main account for his use. All of this is done via an app. I can move money for them, by using one parental account to access both of their accounts, and they can move money within their own account themselves. I also like the regular top up feature where I can set a regular transfer which covers dinner money. Overall its great and gives me that extra piece of mind as well as giving them freedom. App of the year

My family has had a fantastic experience using the Gohenry app and l have never seen my kids as motivated as they are about doing chores . Fabulous invention!!

Its really helped my 13 year old realise the value of money. It's also great to teach him that you have to earn it too by helping out around the house... it's a win win situation, he earns money and now doesnt just blow it on rubbish as hes watching how he spends it with it being his own.
