GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

This is a great idea for kids. I really think it benefits children learn the value of things and how to save to getbthe things you want. I think if children are set up with go Henry in younger years it will prevent them from entering into debt in later years as they will learn to manage finances better Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

Incentivised money management that's fun

My son (9) got his Go Hnry card just before Christmas and since its allowed him to buy things in shops and feel responsible for his money. The tasks and top ups to a regular allowance has allowed us to build reward and recognition into his weekly life - his mother is disabled so he does help around the house more, using Go Henry we have been able to properly track reward his efforts and he now looks forward to 'pay day' so he can treat himself. The customised card design is fun, and he loves showing it off to his friends. I wish I had something like this in my life as someone who wasn't great with money in their early adult life, I think it would have helped build a better relationship with my spending. A fantastic way for my son to save as he doesn’t have it burning a hole in his pocket as cash does, also completing his chores earns more which teaches him about working for money. Using the card in shops or online is good practice for when he is older and ready for debit cards etc. He also loves the fact he can have a card with a pug on it Reviewed on: 18th January 2021
