GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Go Henry has been our ‘Go to’ bank provider for all of our three children over the years. It helps them to be careful with their money and keep a watchful eye on their own spending as well as encourage them to save. They loved the chores aspect of it as a way to earn extra money and we, as parents loved that we knew exactly how they were spending or saving their money. The restrictions on how they spend/withdraw their money is an added bonus that I think every parent would appreciate. Great start for kids learning to manage their own money. Highly recommend. The banking app is teaching my son how to save for things he would like to buy. It is teaching him the value of money, no matter how nominal, a luxury that was not afforded to me when I was growing up. As a result of this, I made mistakes which could have been easily avoided had I knowledge of the value of money at a younger age. I could see the difference in his attitude towards money and it is all positive. Therefore I would highly recommend this app to any parent with children within the age range this banking facility caters for. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

Encourages my daughter to try hard with her online school work and she now loves to save.

My 9 year old daughter loves her go henry card. The moment it arrived (with a pink donut on the pic) she was so excited! The lock down has been tough, with me being a NHS nurse and having to go out to work and her dad working from home as a teacher. We have found her go Henry card as a great incentive to get on with her online school work. When she does well or tidies her room we put a little extra on her card. The pride in her face when she uses it in shops is priceless. Our daughter now loves to save. Would highly recommend it to any parent/grandparent. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

Super easy to manage the kids pocket money and bank balance

It was a little tricky at first using GoHenry because it wasn't tangible (my kids were 6 and 8 when we started using it), but now they have the GoHenry app on their devices they can see what money goes in... and when it comes out, and how much they have in their account. They also feel like big kids when they get to use their own bank card to make a purchase - and it's great too, because instead of saying mum, dad, can we have xxx - we can just say, yes of course, if you want to use your card to buy it. Makes them rethink the purchase when they're the ones paying! Great tool for teaching kids about saving and money management. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021
