About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Brilliant money management for kids

I have used this service for my kids almost from the day it was launched. I can’t fault the app, the features, the convenience and the security. If you want your kids to understand money, not just spend it, GoHenry will do just that. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Not family focused

Great idea, great principle but I have 4 children and only 1 parent account yet I still get charged £2.49 per card per month, so basically £10 a month fees, totally NOT a family centred bank. Try reducing or even eliminating fees for each additional card attached to an account. Money grabbing springs to mind! We are actively looking to move from GoHenry. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Teaches responsibility

I have used Gohenry for my now 8 year old daughter for almost a year. It’s easy to use, teaches children how to use money responsibly and the idea of completing tasks for pocket money in the child version of the app creates a visual reward system. Children can see how much they have earned which is a good motivation! All in all it’s a fantastic way to teach children the essential life skill of being responsible for their own money and earning it. It’s a great bank for children. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Wish we had started using gohenry earlier!

The app is so easy to use. I want to be able to control what my child is able to purchase easily and gohenry provide this. My child was really pleased to be able to personalise their card and uses the app to manage money, payments, savings and charity donations. They have a sense of responsibility and freedom by using gohenry. They like to add tasks to earn more money and this makes home life a little easier when the task is the washing up, hoovering or tidying bedrooms! Affordable and very reasonable monthly fees and clear explanation of when additional fees may be incurred. Easy to get grandparents etc. to send money to my child’s account by bank transfer using a sort code & account number. Wish we’d started using it earlier! Reviewed on: 29th March 2021
