About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Easy and accessible

My sons have had their cards for a few years now and love the flexibility it gives them from contact less payments in the shops and spending online. They can easily create separate saving goals, transfer money to each other etc. App is easy to use and I like that I can see what they are spending. Super simple and affordable

I signed my daughter up to GoHenry on her 6th birthday. She loves being able to use contactless to spend her money and she can monitor her account online just like grown-ups. As a parent, I love the parental controls and the convenience of transferring money to her. Managing money and saving is such an essential life skill and it's great that she can learn in a way that applies to real life. Reviewed on: 17th February 2021

Teaches young people to take control of their finances early on in life

Setting a savings goal, earning pocket money by doing set tasks and not earning when they don’t are all good ways to learn financial responsibility. Also they can learn online security, keeping their information private and safe and basic budgeting. Highly recommend for young children though the fee will make me move to a regular bank account when my child is an 11/12 year old. Reviewed on: 17th February 2021
