I needed a single trip insurance and had heard that Age UK was one of the insurance companies that will insure older people. Their website was clear and I used their insurance for a trip to Southern Ireland in June 2017. Reviewed on: 13th July 2017

A bag containing important documents, cash, jewellery and other things which I had specifically separated to keep them safe, went missing in Security at Manchester Airport on my way to Argentina. I didn't discover the loss until I went through security in Hamburg Airport. I got no joy ringing Manchester airport from Hamburg & spent a very worrying 13 hours on my flight to Buenos Aires. My bag was never found but Good to go paid me for my loss when I returned & made a claim. It was settled very quickly so I have no hesitation in recommending them for this award! My wife fell ill during our visit to Spain last October which resulted in a hospital stay for 10 days. Our claim was dealt with the utmost fairness which leaves us with a simple decision where to secure our next holiday Insurance which takes place this coming October It will of course be with you!!!!!!!!
