Under 18’s Insurance

An overall positive experience

My experience with Holidays Extra Travel Insurance was positive overall. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and attentive, making the process of updating my policy both smooth and efficient. I needed specialist cover for an upcoming trip to the Maldives, as well as to renew my annual European travel insurance, and they guided me through the available options with clarity. One key feature was the flexibility to tailor the policy to multiple regions, which is ideal for travellers with varied plans. The benefit of having both long-haul and regional cover under one provider saved time and gave me peace of mind. However, a minor drawback was that the process involved a fair amount of back-and-forth to confirm certain details, which could be a little time-consuming. Still, the representative’s professionalism and willingness to ensure I got the right cover made it a reassuring and worthwhile experience. Reviewed on: 24th June 2025
