Great renewal price!

Great renewal price, difficult to get answers via the online chat, but the phone was answered quickly. However the customer service operative was unsure regarding some of my questions, but she did check with her colleagues and achieved a good end result. Reviewed on: 13th May 2026

Top class insurance company

The call centre operator that I spoke to about my renewal was very friendly and helpful. I believe that this is the only insurance policy that I have ever had that has consistently got less expensive and gives cashback at the same time. I wouldn't look anywhere else for my landlord insurance. Reviewed on: 1st October 2025

Ripped off or what

Took out landlord insurance with these guys back in 2013. They remained competitively priced until 2018, then a bit of a sharp increase but due to lack of time to research alternatives swallowed that one and stayed with them. This years renewal comes through, increase of around £300 - I have made no claims with them and trying to get through to speak to anyone was a complete joke. I found a far more reasonably priced insurer, and surprise surprise Home Protect suddenly found the time to return my call to "see what they could do". Too little, too late.
