Outstanding Cover, Value and Customer Service

We have recently renewed our home insurance policy with HomeProtect and could not be happier with the service we received. Before renewing, we looked at a wide range of providers and checked the usual comparison websites. HomeProtect offered by far the best combination of comprehensive cover and a competitive price. The policy provides excellent protection and represents genuinely good value for money. What really sets HomeProtect apart, however, is the customer service. The team is friendly, helpful and incredibly easy to deal with. It is straightforward to contact someone when you need assistance, and everything is explained clearly without unnecessary complications or pressure. Finding an insurer that offers excellent cover, a fantastic price and outstanding customer service is not always easy, but HomeProtect delivers on all three. I needed to change my cover for recent renewal.

AVOID - no actual protection offered

I contacted the emergency protect line at 18:20 as the entire 120 litres of water in my hot water cylinder was streaming through the ceiling. An appointment was made with an ‘emergency’ plumber for between 13 hours and 18 hours later. This company had no regard for the structural damage that would be caused by the water flooding through for this length of time or the safety risk posed by the water getting into the electrics. I therefore had to get, and pay for, my own plumber to come out and drain the tank. Disgraceful. Reviewed on: 30th July 2026

I’m good value for moneyhappy with the policy.
