Opened an automated stocks and shares ISA. Very customisable and transparent. Great at explaining the projection for your portfolio when automated, and help with adjusting with changes to your risk appetite. Very please so far with my experience. Reviewed on: 13th February 2025

Investengine review

InvestEngine is a great platform for ETF-focused investing, offering a user-friendly interface, low fees, and helpful automation tools like auto-rebalancing and AutoInvest. The DIY portfolio option is particularly attractive since it comes with no platform fees, making it a cost-effective choice for self-directed investors. The managed portfolios are also competitively priced at 0.25% per year. However, the platform is limited to ETFs, meaning there are no options for individual stocks, mutual funds, or bonds, which might not suit all investors. It would also be nice to see ethical or ESG-focused managed portfolios added in the future. Overall, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a simple, low-cost way to invest in ETFs, but it may not be ideal for those wanting a broader range of investment choices.
