Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Great cover and support

Very helpful staff. When I had to make my first cancellation claim ever, they talked me through the whole process, emailed the forms straight away and paid the amount claimed into my bank the following week within the stated timeframe. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2023

Would not use any other insurer

We have used Just Travel Insurance for years. They are always very professional, knowledgeable, easy to deal with and always our first port of call. We have not had to make a claim yet, but if we do, we hope this would be handled as professionally. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2023

Good Value Travel Insurance

Purchasing travel insurance through the Just Travel website is so easy, with choices displayed as a comparison and categorised by a Bronze, Silver or Gold status according to level of cover. Fantastic service
