A review from Hungary.

Thanks to the low fees, high number of stocks and free ETFs, i would highly recommend the Lightyear for beginner investors. The application is well designed and easy to use. I would develop the quantity of the ETFs, but I appreciate the effort of focusing on local tax system. They have introduced the TBSZ in Hungary, which is an important tax reducing possibility for the Hungarian investors. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

Easy entry for the world on investing. The UI is easy to use and visually pleasing although lacking some advanced analytical features other brokers might offer. (Probably) unlike most users I still prefer using it via browser and feature parity between the desktop and mobile UI would be nice (e.g.: collections, statistics). Reviewed on: 22nd March 2024

Easy to use, good team

They have good support team, good, clear, easily understandable web and mobile surface, good transparency, it is easy to find things. Money in and out comes fast, and there are no unnessessary emails and messages while using. I also like that it is similar to Wise. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2024

Clear and user-friendly UI

Things what i like: clear UI (i don't get distracted by too much noise on the surface), easy user-journeys for the main functionalities ("Add money", "Convert", etc), clean history when i want to take a look on what happened on any currency, and the possibility to have a long-term nvestment account for us, Hungarians. What i don't like is lack of functionality for converting currencies in a limit price. Given that it is the live price all the time, i should take a look throughtout the day, instead of just setting up a limit price which triggers automatically when a certain preset price has been hit. LightYear forever!

Easy tó use, cheap, free etf, and gives what they promise. Customer service is alsó fast and good. I decided tó use since I can have TBSZ account in hungary which is a very good oportunity and special offer. Reviewed on: 21st March 2024
