It’s been in business for over 30 years and is open to anyone who lives or works in the City of Manchester, Bury, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and the High Peak. Any surplus money generated is returned to members in the form of a dividend on their savings or used to improve services to members.
Members can access a range of savings accounts and loans through Manchester Credit Union.

I have been with Manchester credit union for over 20 years. Their service has always been excellent and the staff are so polite. When I... I have been with Manchester credit union for over 20 years. Their service has always been excellent and the staff are so polite. When I I retired I managed to put and keep £5000 in my savings account, which when i pass away will be made up to £10 k and will pay for my funeral. The staff were very helpful in helping me to understand how my savings will work as an endowment. Read more Read less
