A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Easy saving

Easy to set up regular savings from my pay. No rrsyrictions on making withdrawals. Originally set up to pay for hidays but have used the mo.ney for other projects too.FOr people who find it difficult to save this may make it easier. The Union also helps with loans but i havent used that facility Reviewed on: 24th June 2026

MCU Are An EXcellent Financial Assett

When I joined MCU sometime between 2010/2011, they didn't have an app available, however they were easily accessible and very approachable. I had a loan with them in that time which was straightforward to apply for and arrange and suited my needs. It was affordable whilst still saving with them at the same time. The app that has since been developed for MCU is excellent. It has a wealth of information covering various aspects of financial interest. I highly rate MCU as an outstandingly beneficial fundamental financial asset that I definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 24th June 2026
