Manchester Credit Union have a range of savings accounts for members.

A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

It’s the best way for me to try and save. Don’t know how else I’d be able to save as I do without credit union. Iv not had a loan as yet but I know I can always ask for help in getting one if it was needed. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026

Manchester Credit Union Is An Incredible Asset.

I have had a Share 1 account with MCU for many years now, since 2011 at least. It has proved to be an extremely useful and of much benefit financially. I have had loans previously though not currently, however the loans I have had are easily repayable whilst still saving at the same time. I also have an Xmas Saver account and it is so good to know that it is there at Christmas time for Christmas expenses. I also have taken advantage of the Busy Bee Lottery and even though I haven't had a win to date i like the fact that it helps to fund local causes. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026

I love the complicity of being able to save any amount you can afford weekly/monthly. An efficient way for me to save for my children’s Christmas throughout the year and any emergencies that arise I can withdrawal like a bank account t to my current account the same day.
