A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

I am onebof the founding member of MCU.

I am onebof the founding member of MCU. Have not had any problem. My very first desktop was given to me be MCU over 20 years ago at the old office where we now have the recreational centre in Biswick. I have borrowed money and also returned back. Great Community Resource

Excellent saving scheme, direct from my wage. If I need to access my savings, I think it is easy and very secure to check it's me first who is requesting my money from my savings. The phone app is easy to use and any steps I need need to take are simple to follow. If I ever need to contact anyone, they respond quickly. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026
