Manchester Credit Union have a range of savings accounts for members.

A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

It was so easy to join and start my regular savings, it's great for me because I can keep track of my savings but I don't see it and withdraw to spend too often, meaning I can save more without the urge to spend. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026

Have been a customer of the credit union for nearly 20 years and have always had excellent customer service from phone call to face to face and each time I have always been treated with polite, efficient and professional service from each member of the staff they really are doing a fantastic job from giving advice on loans to getting the best with your savings. I am onebof the founding member of MCU. Have not had any problem. My very first desktop was given to me be MCU over 20 years ago at the old office where we now have the recreational centre in Biswick. I have borrowed money and also returned back.
