Great Price, easy to use

The quote from Marmalade was nearly £500 cheaper than any other. The tag arrived within a couple of days and was easy to set up and install. I have had some issues with the trips not being recorded properly but the support team have been great, they responded quickly to my enquiry and are looking into the issues for me. Would definitely recommend to any one looking for cheap insurance. Reviewed on: 14th August 2020

Affordable but room for improvement

I like Marmalade and find it the most affordable compared to other insurers. The only problem I have with it is, I wish there were a way for marmalade to calculate my driving without the need for my phone being on with Bluetooth to connect to the app. I have to rely on keeping my phone charged all the time to be covered when driving which is inconvenient and sometimes life just doesn’t work out that way (you may not have a charger with you) and it means I can’t drive during this Reviewed on: 14th August 2020

Great first option for new driver isnurance

I’m still learning to drive as a lot of things have put everything on hold I’ve past couple years. Fortunately this insurance gives me the flexibility to drive with my mum and keep up the practice. No issues with customer service and just renewed for another year at a reasonable price! Reviewed on: 14th August 2020

Although I haven’t had the app for ages I cannot complain about it. The app rates each journey out of 5 stars and gives you exact locations on where you made a mistake. This allows you to know exactly what you did wrong and can then adjust to not only better your next score but better your overall driving. The app also gives you tips on driving if your struggling in a certain area and allows you to review which areas you should be working on. I love the idea of streaks as I’m always trying to get the highest number possible and the achievements give you something to work towards. Overall, this app is really good and easy to use for all drivers. Would recommend to anyone and I’m really glad I went with Marmalade for my insurance company!! Reviewed on: 14th August 2020

Good premiums but slow customer service

The premiums, particularly for young or learner drivers, are very reasonable and I haven't found a quote which doesn't change after passing your test which is great as many premiums go up after passing. However, trying to alter account details or update the status of your car is impossible online and requires a phone call. I have often been on hold or not even getting through. If there is an immediate issue, this is very inconvenient. There is also not enough email support or response from marmalade when you do email. Overall, I have had a fairly good experience without much trouble, but it is not a hands on experience. Reviewed on: 14th August 2020
