The no-bullshit alternative

Monese has a very fast and hassle-free setup process for an account. No proof of address, no appointment, no paper forms, no rummaging through your financial history required. The mobile app works reliably and is intuitive and fast to use. The premium account is reasonably priced and comes with no-commission currency transfers. It feels like being a private banking customer, at a fraction of the cost. Monese almost totally replaces a traditional bank: as of today, I haven't created a high street bank account. The selection of products is small, though: Monese has only prepaid cards, which are not accepted by some payees. Reviewed on: 30th January 2019
