The best savings app I have ever used

I LOVE the Moneybox app. Not only does it look great, it's super easy to use too. Using the Moneybox has enabled me to save in ways I would never have thought of. The round ups are one of my favourite features - I always use the Super round ups to save that little bit extra per transaction, a you barely notice it coming out of your debit card balance. It's just so convenient and so innovative. I am using my Lifetime ISA to save to buy my first home and quite honestly, I wouldn't be as close to my savings target if it weren't for Moneybox. I like to think I was a good saver before I opened my Moneybox account, but I really wasn't!! I have recommended this app to so many of my family and friends who are now using it too. I honestly would be stuck without it! Thank you Moneybox for being so reliable, providing me with all the tools I need, from learning and stocks and shares, to having access to speak with mortgage advisers - the Moneybox app really is GENIUS!! Moneybox Lifetime ISA

The Moneybox app is super easy to use when it comes to depositing funds and managing your accounts, but it goes a step further by providing guides and resources to help with the process of buying a home. The wealth chart on the Lifetime ISA is a great motivator as it helps to visualise progression towards your goal, and there's an option to add a house buying partner to the 'housemates savings' section to see your combined savings total. You can set up a direct debit to deposit funds weekly or monthly which is handy if you want to get into the habit of regular saving, although it's not necessary if you prefer to deposit as-and-when; the app allows for this, but you will still need an active direct debit instruction between Moneybox and your paying bank, which seems a bit odd at first. The interest rate has recently come down to 3.8% - not fantastic, but the 25% government bonus on your deposits means it's absolutely worth considering if you're looking to buy your first home. Moneybox is a great choice for this ISA if you're happy to move away from the bricks-and-mortar banks. Reviewed on: 3rd December 2024

Moneybox for all kinds of saving

Moneybox has been perfect for me to put away money for the future and watching it grow. The bonuses i have received are amazing. Although i am a low budget saver the little boosts really help. The app is easy to navigate. Adding money is simple and all features are clear and can be understood with ease. Money box also send email informing you of all changes, other types of savings. All information for each account is easy to read and accessible easy you do not have to hunt for answers. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Moneybox LISA - Benefits no cons

Moneybox LISA is a great way to save money for your future, there is loads of options for accounts but i chose LISA as it cannot be dipped into. It has an excellent insurance rate and you can watch your money grow. i also like that you can watch your money grow and have a clear break down of what is going into your account, how you can improve savings and all interest that is added. It is easy to add money and if you are lucky to reach the target you will receive a huge bonus. They also have challenges at certain times to win a lump sum to add to your savings pot. The website is really user friendly (easy) and you are informed of any updates, new offers on accounts and changes in T&Cs. I would recommend this account to anyone who wants to save for their future house or retirement. You can also add a buying partner and that balance is separate to yours so you can easily see how much each person adds, perfect for couples interested in future purchases.
