Great platform but high barrier of entry

Moneyfarm is a great investment platform that takes the burden of management of a portfolio whilst still offering low fees. A couple of years ago I would rate it 10/10 because the barrier to entry was lower but it's now quite high. I understand the reason for it but it's a shame it stops me from recommending it to people with smaller initial investments like I initial started. My portfolio is currently about 30% up so far having started quite small in 2017. The score doesn't reflect anything in terms of service/platform it's more a reflection on audience I feel it can invest in it. Reviewed on: 4th January 2022

Feeling secure into the unknown!

I am risk averse. I am a classic saver with my money in the bank. I am old school. Until I found Moneyfarm…. I’d been thinking about investing my money for a while but I didn’t know how to do it or whether I even could and to be honest, I was a bit scared. I signed up to Moneyfarm, had a chat with a real life adviser to feel more secure with my decision, then I transferred over my starting investment. Now I’ve got the app on my phone and I’ve set up monthly direct transfers to my account. I keep an eye on the investments being made and I feel extremely secure with my decision. I have started on my investment journey and I honestly could not be happier with Moneyfarm. Reviewed on: 4th January 2022

A fantastic and safe way to begin saving/investing.

Though my interaction with Moneyfarm has been very minimal, I can't fault how seamless and informative it has been when it came to first diving into the world of investing and making passive income. It gave me everything I needed to ensure that I made the best decision for my money and how to use it, and it allows me to view its performance at any given time which, as someone who constantly worries about their finances, is much appreciated! Easy investing for newbies

Although I could create my own portfolio with EFTs, I really would not know where to start. Although I could potentially chase higher gains in the short term I doubt I would be able to reliably grow my investments over time if it invested DIY. I feel that my money is in safe hands, with funds chosen after careful thought and rebalanced regularly, taking the stress out of investing. Moneyfarm is also very keen on assessing my level of risk and adjusting my portfolio performance based on this. I would 100% recommend this to anyone without prior experience in investing!
