Great Tool, Disappointing Support

I’ve been using MoneyHub and really like the tool. It has a nice interface and is fairly simple to use. However, the support is disappointing. I encountered a connection issue and submitted my enquiry via their website chat on 12th June. After the standard initial reply, I followed up but was met with complete silence. I then followed up via email and experienced the same lack of response. On 17th June, someone contacted me to say they would look into the issue. However, it has gone silent again. I messaged on 19th June to find out the status, but there has been no response. Today is 21st June, and it has been 9 days since my first contact without resolution. The tool works well when everything is running smoothly, but the lack of support is a major drawback. I am now considering moving my money management to another provider due to this issue. Lots of integration with most finance institutions

Like the envelope system, but for real life complexity

My wife described it as “like doing the envelope thing”. I see what she means, but it’s so much more than that. Household budgets are complex, and Moneyhub has taken all the effort out of tracking all our incomes and expenses, letting me feel confident of what money I have left top downs this month. In the few occasions that I have contacted support, usually because a bank or investment platform has changed how their APIs work, they’ve always been responsive and helpful. Great app, i can keep track and plan in one place.

Great app, it enabled me to see all my money in one place, see trends, predict payments etc. love the ability to budget and have the app automatically categorise my transactions but have me check them so I know exactly what’s happening with my finances. Reviewed on: 16th January 2025
