Great Savings rate

Since joining Nat West with a new Current Account back in 2022 the Regular Digital Saver has not really budged in it's inception paying a rate of 5.25% AER which is fantastic in this financial climate with dropping rates, the £150 has built up over the months and now compounding at a nice abover average rate is going nicely. Good interest rate on regular saver

I opened a regular saver because the interest rate was good. I find it easy to deposit money into the account via automatic transfers and the app is easy to use. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

What a waste of time.

What a waste of time. I would never willingly open another account with this bank again. No wonder Monzo is doing so well. Absolutely ghastly. Excuse after excuse for their penalty for misleading savings product. Unclear information and lack of safety net against risk. Reviewed on: 20th April 2024

Shambles. Untested platform and false rates

Tried to open fixed rate ISA. Applied online with screen saying "close tab and proceed" which it didn't as the page was now closed. Pointless activity obviously not tested. Called up to be eventually told cannot deal with online application on phones. 1 hour wasted. Attempted to use Cora, their online bit but there is no obvious place to click like "click here to speak to Cora". Eventually get through and nothing could be sorted. Meanwhile, I had email to say there was a message waiting for me and all I had to do was log on. The message would have said this is your account number but the irony is that I did not have my account number. Can you see where all this is going? Another Cora visit and after another hour the agent said call back tomorrow. No letter came through for me but my wife had hers and we opened at exactly the same time. Jumped through hoops to set up the app to then be told it was a much lower rate. Aagh. This company is awful. No way are we going to trust them with our money. Don't deserve bailouts or any help until they have the basics sorted. Went with Tipton instead which by comparison was an absolute joy. Reviewed on: 12th November 2023

Fixed term savings deposit

After years of low interests for deposits finally the FTS deposit is an amazing opportunity to make ones savings work and earn great interest on them. The two years FTS deposit is such a great opportunity and I welcome it! Thank you NatWest! Reviewed on: 18th February 2023
