Unable to access Internet Saver account online to update new address & telephone number as account locked, so having to wait for a new security number to be sent in the post (as they're 'unable' to send to new telephone number). Will only send to old address as 'unable' to send to new address because they're unable to update details...I have to do this online (which I can't access). First security number has been 'lost' in the post, so having to wait for a second to be sent (to the old address). Think I'll probably close instead (once I receive the security number to be able to access my account). Phew!

Still dire. We are now approaching our day 30 after which we cannot add money to our accounts. I have one and my husband has one. In total we are transferring in 3 old accounts from other providers. 2 have completed but one is still outstanding. This is far too stressful. I WILL NEVER USE TESCOBANK AGAIN. They have over £100,000 of our money in total and are Dickensian in their speed of service. Never again!! A different provider transferred in to my new ISA in 48 hours, yet to date it has been 26 days and Tescobank have still not completed the very same transaction from the same originating provider.

Everything is done by post. This means that when you have an ISA to transfer in at the end of its term, deadlines become squeezed. I opened an account online, needed to wait for postal information before I could access it. Then I downloaded, completed and posted the Transfer In form back to Tescobank. 14 days later I had heard nothing as to whether the bank was processing my request. The provider from which the ISA was being taken only allowed 21 days to withdraw out the funds before it became stuck there (with a poor interest rate). On phoning Tescobank the assistant was unable to help me until I really pressed her so now I await a phone call from her to inform me if my money is going to make it in time. Needless to say, if the answer is uncertain, I will return to the other provider I used who did a transfer in within 48 hours!!! Tescobank could learn a thing or 2 from them!!

I actually had to get in touch with them to ask how to use the product, as nothing in the initial information made it clear. The lack of communication from Tesco Bank is also unfortunate, as I keep forgetting I have the account :)

I opened a savings account but had a query about the interest rate. It took 5 minutes before the phone was answered & the rate confirmed. When the letter arrived the rate had been reduced. The only online methods to contact tesco is either facebook or twitter, why? After another wait for the phone to be answered, I closed the account.

Staff are incompetent

Sent passport ,letter from nat west, water rate for 2016/17 "didn't have a date on it ?" ha ha still wanted more to confirm my identity! (Tesco card holder!!) gave up.

A decent account with a ok interest rate

I was looking for a better savings account and thought this sounded pretty good. It had a better interest rate then my current account at the time so I switched. I've never had a issue and can easily access my money

Use Tesco Bank for savings only as their rates are competitive and suit my requirements in the current financial environment, prefer to carry out all my business on line.
Have found that it is not possible to fully manage my accounts on line, have recently resorted to written communication which is never acknowledged despite requesting so, usually have to resort to telephone contact in the end to complete my business.
Telephone contact, Glasgow based, is not bad after an initial short wait and going through all the necessary security, it's just that I prefer not to have to use this method and believe that with on line banking this should not be required as per many other providers.
Anyone had similar experiences ?

This bank is terrible!!!! Call themselves a bank - they cannot operate a simple direct debit, have taken 6 months so far and still have failed to sort out the mess they have created. even when you contact their CEO, Benny Higgins, all he does is pass your complaint to other incompetent staff who call themselves by high faluting names but are as incompetent as the rest of the staff.

The Internet Saver account was easy to set up and with the mobile app it's really easy to transfer money and check your balance.

It also gave me double the interest rate I was getting on my ISA with Santander. Downside is there's no branches or even a bank card so everything has to be done online.

Tesco Savings accounts are very easy to set up online an also to set up regular direct debits. My only gripe is if you clear your cookies on your computer it stops you accessing your Tesco online account. However, when I contacted Tesco they sorted this out quickly by sending me a new access link for my computer.

Had to contact them a number of times to sort out my online access once the account was opened. Customer services not very good. Online system is one of the slowest sites I have used .

amazing

genuinly the best service i have ever recieved and i cannot put into words how helpful everyone was aspecially a young man called james was amazing and really made it clear and i could do it without him and he was the best i ever had.
