Easy to the point app

Natwest Rooster Accounts

I think Natwest Rooster Accounts are an absolutely brilliant way of teaching children the value of money. It also teaches them that it's ok to not spend every penny as soon as they have it. My two children aged 8yrs and 15yrs have both got an account and love that firstly they have their own accounts, secondly that they have their own contactless debit card that they can use pretty much everywhere aswell as online, and thirdly that they can keep an eye on how much they have in the app. I love the fact that my 15yr old daughter can't buy anything meant for an adult. I can pay my children for the chores they do into their account. They have a separate 'savings pot' they can transfer from yheir accounts into and there are extra things like they can earn stickers for specific things and once they reach a number of stickers (of your coice) they get a sum of money or a nice surprise of your choice. There's just more incentives for children to want to 'work' for their pocket money rather than just expect it. Great solution

This has been a fantastic solution to helping with learning about finances in my family. I am able to teach my daughter and help her to become financially strong and wise in regards to money and decisions associated with it. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Great account

I set up this rooster account for my son, we had a go Henry account but this is inadequate as you could not put funds on easily, your card details would have to be re entered after a few weeks as it forgot them. The rooster account is very easy to set up and use, great easy access for both parents and child, transferring funds is so easy and effortless, you are kept up to date with the account and any promotional updates. Great easy banking for kids

A great easy way to keep your kids safe and help them learn about money and spending. If they run out of money and cant get home or need to get something to eat and drink you can easily transfer money. Also set spending limits day week month. It’s easy to freeze and unfreeze lost and stolen cards as well. We had this and the new card came out quick Had great response from the chat and message online.
