Rooster is great!

5
I had previously signed up with another child bank card card company, for which I paid a monthly fee. When I heard about rooster which is free if you are already a NatWest group account holder, I switched to them immediately and am very glad I did! Lots of tips and money saving advice, and also ideas for activities to enjoy with your children when on a budget. Fabulous! Reviewed on: 10th April 2023

Rooster cards and accounts

I can recommend the rooster cards from 6-13ish they are a great way to help your children manage their money - unstinting money and the value, giving them the freedom but still in control my son had his since he was 10 and has now learnt to manage his account and moved him to a normal account with a savings account to earn interest, my 2nd son has had his for 18 months but still learning how to manage his money and take respobility for her card. my daughter will get hers when she is 10. i would have liked to continue till 15/16 but with multiple children its expensive Reviewed on: 9th April 2023

The card has all the functionality needed to control where money can be spent. Money transfers quickly in and out of the child's money pot. Reviewed on: 9th April 2023

Confident booster

My 11 been crying for a bank card since she was 8 , I wanted to wait till I knew that she can understand money sensibly. She has used Roblox bucks but spent it senselessness and this time rooster money has encouraged her to do chores and plan her budgets for her big child spends. It is a bonus to have for free on first year as a NatWest banker for over 17 years. Reviewed on: 8th April 2023

Great, functional app

5
The Rooster app is accessible, simple and functional. It had all the functionality we need and gives the kids some independence with money while enabling us to keep tabs. My daughter recently lost her card and the process for getting a new one was quick and easy. The visuals on the app are great for giving younger kids a kickstart to their financial education. Great for kids

Great way of getting children to think about and understand money. My kids are keen to do chores to get more money added and it's really easy for them to track what they've got. Just a shame the card isn't available from a younger age Reviewed on: 7th April 2023

Rooster is brilliant for kids

It’s more than just a card for children. You can add chores for them to do to earn their pocket money. It’s certainly teaching my daughter a thing or 2 about money Reviewed on: 7th April 2023
