I've been using the app for a couple of years now, it became the solution that best fit co-parenting and pocket money. Easier for the other parent to add money directly digitally and without feeling like they are 'giving it to me'. It also gives our child more real world experience. As a NatWest customer we tried this because the subscription is free and it's been fantastic. The only drawbacks are the overall digital issues where it's hard for a child to quantify money, especially without smart app access. Overall we've not even considered moving from the Rooster app, which says everything :) Reviewed on: 2nd March 2026
