Great app for teaching kids about £££

I was never taught as a child about value of money, earning, supporting the family in a way that's not seen as pressure but fun and the Rooster app really helps with that! My son has been using Rooster since he was 7 or 8 and 4 years later, he still does! He has his own payment card and for a tween, it's a nice way of giving some control too. The Apps have come on and are now easier to use than ever. The rooster account has helped my child manage her money setting her up with good financial sense for the future such as saving and leaving within your means. Reviewed on: 20th February 2026

It's an easy app for both parents and children to use.

It's an easy app for both parents and children to use. Any issues have been fixed in a timely manner with good communication from NatWest. Easy, free of charge!

Easy, free of charge! Helping my 8 year old make sensible choices around spending money from a young age, also encourages saving money too which we feel is important. Setting the account up with so easy via the app as an existing customer. Reviewed on: 20th February 2026

Excellent children's early years bank account.

I have a NatWest savings account which is competitive enough against other banks. I also have the Rooster account for my young child as it's a fantastic way of teaching my child the importance and knowledge of managing spending, saving and having overall control of money at a very young age which i hope will lead up to a very financially secure future and understanding of the money management. Adult and Family control/supervision at children's early years is vital so as to make sure everything in relation to the Rooster account is secure. Reviewed on: 20th February 2026
