The app is easy to use and understand for both parents and children to see available balance, top up, budget, and monitor where money is being sent. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026

Fantastic Tool for Financial Education

5
As a parent, I have found NatWest Rooster to be one of the best tools for teaching children about money in a practical, hands-on way. The app is intuitive and easy for kids to navigate, while still giving parents the right level of oversight and control. I particularly like how it encourages responsibility, from setting savings goals and tracking spending, to managing pocket money and chores. The card gives children a real sense of independence, but with sensible spending controls and instant notifications, so I always know what is happening. The savings features are especially helpful in building long-term habits rather than just short-term spending. Itis opened up really positive conversations about budgeting, planning, and making choices. Overall, NatWest Rooster strikes a great balance between financial education and parental peace of mind. I’d highly recommend it to any parent who wants to help their child build confidence and healthy money habits early on. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026

I have my main account and both kids bank accounts with Natwest and its great because I can move money around between my accounts and theirs, check what they have been spending my money on LOL. I also like that I can assign a task to them and can set an amount that they can earn if they want to do it. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026
