Rooting for Rooster

We have two children whom we opened Rooster accounts for a year ago, this has proven to do exactly what we hoped it would. It is continuing to give the children a better view of accounting and budgeting. They know what funds will be going into THEIR accounts and when. They also know that if they want a high value item, they need to earn sufficient funds in order to purchase the item. Having a Rooster account also helps children with maths other than budgets they add each payment and work out the length of time it will take to earn required total. Instead of the children coming to the parents every time they want to purchase something. They can check their own accounts and see if they can afford it or not. If not, they know they need to do extra chores, to earn what they need. WE LOVE OUR ROOSTER ACCOUNTS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BRILLIANT. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Great for my two grandchildren to start using bank accounts early. My granddaughter saves well and uses the app regularly to pay when she is on school visits no longer has to carry ash and risk losing it. Reviewed on: 14th May 2025

Fantastically easy to navigate

We have a Natwedt rooster account for our child and it was an easy process to open the account and there are lots of excellent features on the app allowing for my child to navigate options for where she wants her money to be spent or saved. It’s good value for money and great for teaching a child the value of money and how to use a debit card. Reviewed on: 28th April 2025
