Rooting for Rooster

We have two children whom we opened Rooster accounts for a year ago, this has proven to do exactly what we hoped it would. It is continuing to give the children a better view of accounting and budgeting. They know what funds will be going into THEIR accounts and when. They also know that if they want a high value item, they need to earn sufficient funds in order to purchase the item. Having a Rooster account also helps children with maths other than budgets they add each payment and work out the length of time it will take to earn required total. Instead of the children coming to the parents every time they want to purchase something. They can check their own accounts and see if they can afford it or not. If not, they know they need to do extra chores, to earn what they need. WE LOVE OUR ROOSTER ACCOUNTS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BRILLIANT. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Good start in banking for kids

Our 14 year old son uses Rooster Money. It’s easy to use and good to get used to banking. He has a savings pot as well as a spend pot. It’s easy as a parent to transfer money from our NatWest account. Reviewed on: 19th April 2025
