Application Process The application was straightforward and fully online. I completed the form in a few minutes, and the system used Open Banking to check affordability, which made the process faster and more accurate. I received a decision almost instantly, which matched what many reviewers also report. Transparency & Communication One of the strongest points is transparency. OakbrookAdvance clearly shows the representative example and confirms there are no upfront fees. All documents were easy to understand, and the repayment schedule was laid out clearly. I have had no issues with my first loan and top up was hassle free but now every week I get a text then an email saying that I am now eligible for a top up and although my payments for top up would be lower than the current payments and I have never missed or been late with any payment and my income has increased my top up keeps getting declined, maybe you should check my account before messaging me saying i am eligible Reviewed on: 21st January 2026
