I am a caterer I open the account because I believer it will be easier for my business and send money back home . Unfortunately I was wrong. The company who provided the card machine I use to transaction with customers had already paid money to this OhentPay and the money has been with them since. All I hear from them is we are doing review after I have provided all the information they need I even sent them the ones they did not ask for just for them to know I have been doing business with this company call Elavon contact. But till date I keep hearing the same story we are still doing review. I couldn’t sleep as I have pple to carry out their even for today now this guys held my money reason best known to them . I’m tired getting sick because this is my business they are trying to ruin for me. I know they will come back with the same script blablabla contact our team they will be able to help you but no help has been done . I am begging you guys pls this can cause a lot for me event had already been planed pls for God sake or whatever you believe in your company release my money pls how would I explain to my customers and the staffs I am getting sick and tired just imaging someone spoil your big Day how would you guys from this company feel pls help I need this money to be released today pls pls pls pls pls Reviewed on: 22nd May 2025

I've been using OhentPay for over two years now with the same credit card details. Last year, after getting married, I faced delays with my withdrawals, which made it difficult to meet some financial commitments. A similar issue occurred when I was purchasing land—I withdrew 13 million Naira, and despite providing all the necessary information, it took them two days to send my money. Yesterday, I traveled from Calabar to Lagos to purchase building materials and made a withdrawal of $10,100 using my Wise account. To clarify, Wise is a 3D-secure payment platform that requires mobile authorization before any transaction can be processed. I completed all the necessary authorizations and even provided extra information to show my trust and compliance with OhentPay's process. However, it has now been over 30 hours, and I am stranded in Lagos, borrowing money just to cover my expenses and meals. Meanwhile, my Wise account shows that the funds have already been released to them. Despite multiple follow-ups, they keep telling me to wait as my transaction is still under review. I understand that security checks are necessary, but such prolonged delays are simply unacceptable. It's frustrating to be in a situation where my own money is inaccessible, leaving me stuck in Lagos without funds. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Think Twice Before Using OhentPay - A Cautionary Tale

I felt compelled to share my experience after a series of disappointing interactions with OhentPay, mirroring what seems to be a troubling pattern of issues. Like many, I was drawn in by the promise of easy and efficient transactions. However, what followed was a series of events that left me both perplexed and frustrated. Nearly five weeks ago, I initiated a transaction, expecting the seamless process OhentPay advertises. Instead, I encountered unexplained delays and a lack of clear communication that has since become a recurring nightmare. Efforts to seek clarity or even a basic update from their customer service resulted in a kafkaesque loop of automated responses and dead ends. Adding insult to injury, during one of the few interactions I had with their support team, I was assured of a resolution “within days,” only to be met with complete silence thereafter. It’s as if my transaction—and by extension, I as a customer—vanished into thin air. What’s more troubling, upon sharing my plight in a customer forum, I discovered a pattern of similar experiences among other users. Stories of transactions held without explanation, absent customer support, and a bewildering lack of accountability seem all too common. While I can only speak from my experience and what I’ve since learned from others, it’s clear that something is amiss. Whether it’s operational inefficiencies, systemic issues, or simply a disregard for customer experience, OhentPay has a lot to answer for. For those considering OhentPay for their transaction needs, I urge you to proceed with caution. In a world where trust and reliability are paramount, especially in financial services, it’s crucial to choose a provider that not only talks the talk but walks the walk. Worst service

I paid a payment on 17th September Sunday, I hit debited from France to Nigeria and my payment is on pending, I was asked to submit my bank statement which I did. It’s more than 3days from Sunday and I haven’t received my payment. P.s I am a regular user of OhentPay which have been working well regardless of the delay but is sure it will come but this is the worst case. I plead with every future user or intending user DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT think of using it for any reason. Except you want to loose your money. They are not thorough in their transaction and they refused reimbursement of my money 1032euros. Service sucks big time!

Very unreliable for remittance and I wonder why they are still allowed to do financial business. I wont be surprised if some day people's money "hangs" permanently and it'll be up to regulators to intercede. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2023
