Left without a car

The policy of delaying a courtesy car until it’s decided if the car is to be repaired or written off only leaves one in a dilemma. Even though i stressed I need to be mobile as I take care of my grandmother in her end of life period, I was spun lines that would only ensure the profits of the company came first no Mayer what. I will not renew my policy. I’m so depressed with the situation one call have left me in. Reviewed on: 17th September 2023

Rip Off if you change car

Wanted to change insurance cover as a result of changing car, but was unable to do so with the initial underwriters so lost the £180 for 12 month insurance even though I had eight months remaining. Was initially told on the portal chatline that the existing underwriters would transfer money to new policy but later told this was not possible. Was also very time consumming to get quote for new car as I was unable to do it through the portal, chatline or telephone (until a day or so before). Hate to think the time a claim must take. I have been a customer of One Call for many years as too my family. However recently we have lost the one to one customer service which is such a shame as it makes life so much easier for some people. I for one prefer the direct contact.
