You can open a Plum lifetime ISA with just 1p. If you already have a lifetime ISA with another provider, you can transfer it over to Plum. All you need to get started is the Plum app and your National Insurance number.

I have been using plum for around 3 years and love it

I have been using plum for around 3 years and in that time I’ve used their ‘brain’ feature to maximise my savings. I also have investments with plum that I keep ticking in the background. It’s really user friendly and visually appealing. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026
