Real and tangible support for staff and residents

As a Benefit Service in a London borough, this tool is so useful to support residents who are struggling to make ends, especially during this difficult cost of living crisis. It helps residents to maximizing their income through Benefit Take up. The prediction of following month's UC award helps residents to budget and used in partnership with the budgeting tool, enables residents to see where savings can be made to their non-essential outgoings. Policy in Practice helps change clients lives.

I use policy in practice on a daily basis in my role, to help clients and maximise their income. It is such a vital tool for our organisation (Citizens Advice Cardiff & Vale), to allow clients to receive what they are entitled to.This has made a massive difference to thousands of clients lives, enabling them to increase their income and navigate through such a difficult financial environment currently. As well as it being beneficial for organisations to use, it is also hugely helpful for clients themselves.
