I rarely leave reviews, but on this case I felt compelled to. Linda on the new business team was by far the most helpful person I’ve ever interacted with at a financial institution. At the 11th hour our mortgage offer was due to expire because our solicitor somehow failed to submit the required documents by the underwriter’s deadline. It was only thanks to Linda’s sustained efforts, which was quite frankly above and beyond anything I’ve experienced from a bank or building society, that the mortgage was finally processed with hours to go. The staff at family Building society appear to make it their ambition to make a simple matter as difficult as they can. A good reputation takes years to attain, a bad one seconds with a few click of a mouse. Reviewed on: 11th October 2022
