The RBS Select current account is a basic account for everyday banking.

Account holders can access RBS’ mobile banking app which has a range of money management features and built-in credit score checker. The Select account is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay and has the option for an arranged overdraft.

Only been with them a short time and had a few issues. Not the best bank so far

Always on hand to help

42 years - No problems

RBS is a fantastic bank - I have never had a problem in 42 years - There are various ways to bank - In person, over the phone, on the internet or via an app. I use them all on different occasions. Reviewed on: 17th February 2016

Fine but not amazing!

I would love for my bank to be open on Saturdays however each time they ask me to come in for an annual review i have to take a day off work!!! So frustrating Reviewed on: 17th February 2016

Good app makes life a little easier

I feel quite indifferent about my bank but I do love my banking app on my phone which makes transfers between my accounts quick and straightforward and checking balances very easy, no more worrying about having insufficient funds! Basic

The RBS Basic current account is a great account if it's your first, you get everything you'd expect from a basic account, card, PIN, Online and Telephone banking and you can set up direct debits and standing orders and its free. The things you don't get with it is a chequebook or overdraft facility. Reviewed on: 12th February 2016
