Failed to Pass on Base Rate Rises in March & May to Savers

1
Recognise Bank paying 1.5% on its 95 day notice savings account launched last year which is the same rate as Chase Bank's instant access account. There should be premium interest rate for having to wait 95 days to access savings but Recognise Bank fleecing savers. Last 2 base rate rises not passed on to its customers. Vote with feet and move savings elsewhere. Reviewed on: 11th May 2022

Recognise Bank has failed to pass on the Bank of England's 0.25% base rate rise on 17 March 2022, to its saving account customers. Another greedy bank to avoid. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2022

Automatically increased rates on notice account, in full within seven days of BoE interest rate changes - so now paying 1.50%. Reviewed on: 5th March 2022

Great response to base rate increases

Recognise seems to be unique in responding to each BoE base rate increase by raising the interest they pay on Notice accounts. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2022
