Failed to Pass on Base Rate Rises in March & May to Savers

Recognise Bank paying 1.5% on its 95 day notice savings account launched last year which is the same rate as Chase Bank's instant access account.... Recognise Bank paying 1.5% on its 95 day notice savings account launched last year which is the same rate as Chase Bank's instant access account. There should be premium interest rate for having to wait 95 days to access savings but Recognise Bank fleecing savers. Last 2 base rate rises not passed on to its customers. Vote with feet and move savings elsewhere. Read more Read less

    My contact has been to open savings accounts for myself and my wife. I found the procedure clear, easy to understand and simple to follow.... I was impressed that this was a lot more straightforward than some other savings accounts - including one that will not open an account until they have sent you two separate letters by post - each containing part of the information that they need to have inputted.
